Ingredients
2 cans french style green beans, drained
1 stalks celery finely chopped
1 small onion finely chopped
3 whole Bella mushrooms, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp chicken powder
¼ cup chicken stock or broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded Mexican blend or Monterey Jack cheese, divided
Topping:
1 cup panko bread crumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 - 2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop celery, onion and mushrooms fine. Drain green beans.
Step 2
2. Add butter to a oven proof skillet and melt over medium heat. Add of celery, onions and mushrooms to skillet. Add salt and pepper. Sauté for a few minutes or until soft. Add green beans and mix. Add cream of mushroom soup and chicken powder. Add Worcestershire sauce
Step 3
3. Add a cup of shredded cheese and mix. Let cook a few minutes. While cooking, make the topping.
Step 4
4. Mix the topping ingredients together and layer it on top of the casserole. Put in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes
