Tacos Dorados on the Blackstone Griddle
Ingredients
1lb 80/20 ground chuck
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 small onion
2-3 tablespoon Hussey's Fiesta Dust
Corn tortillas
8 oz of cheddar cheese
6-7 tablespoon oil (I used peanut)
Toppings and fillings of your choice
Directions
Prep the ground beef by placing the beef in a bowl and add baking soda and water. Mix lightly trying not to over mix.
Pre-heat Blackstone griddle to a low heat.
Chop onion and set to the side.
Add a small amount of oil and add onions. Saute till soft.
Add the ground beef and mix well until almost done and brown.
Add the Fiesta Dust and mix well then add the cheddar cheese to melt.
Once the cheese and seasoning is to your liking, remove and place in a bowl.
Add another small amount of oil and warm tortillas. Crucial so that the tortillas don't break. Remove and place in a towel and cover.
Take the tortillas and fill with ground beef mixture.
Add 4-5 tablespoons of oil to shallow fry the tacos.
Add tacos to the griddle and fry until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels.
Before serving, lift up one side and fill with your favorite toppings and then get ready for a maximum crunch taco and deliciousness!!!
First dish I made on my Blackstone while camping and it was a huge success thanks to Hungry Hussey’s recipe and the seasoning I purchased from his store. Home run buddy!
Looks great, going to try it next week,
