Pork chops are so good and so easy to do on a griddle, but BBQ pork chops is much better! You'll see a nice hack I like to use when doing BBQ pork chops too!
Ingredients
2 cups bbq sauce
6 pork chops, 3/4" thick
Brine :
1 can regular Cheerwine
1 can water
1 Seasoning:
1 /2 tsp onion powder
1 /2 tsp garlic powder
1 /4 tsp smoked paprika
1 /4 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Directions
Step 1
1 Add brine ingredients to a storage container and add pork chops. Let sit at least 4 hours. Mix up the seasoning.
Step 2
2 When brining is done, dry off pork chops and season with seasoning. Get griddle to 370-375 degrees. Add oil to griddle and then the pork chops. Cook 2-3 minutes and flip. Cook another 2-3 minutes. When temp gets to around 100-110 degrees, move chops out of the way and add a sheet of aluminum foil. Add bbq sauce to the foil and put chops on top of the foil. Add more sauce to the top of the chops. Cook another few minutes and flip. Add more bbq sauce and keep cooking and fliping addind bbq sauce each time you flip. Cook till internal temp gets to 140.
