In this video I'll show you how I make simple bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeno poppers on the Blackstone griddle. This is a great snack for a football game, camping trip, or just because, which is my case. Haha. Give it a try and even add your own twist. This is a basic stuffed popper, but the variations are endless.
Ingredients:
6 Jalapeno peppers
1 block cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Gouda, shredded
1/2 cup colby/Jack, shredded
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
6 strips Bacon
Uncle Steve's Competition Pig powder or your favorite seasoning
Directions:
Â
1. Cut jalapenos with stem on so about 85 percent of jalapeno is intact. Cut out seeds and membrane of piece you cut out. Put piece back on jalapeno and set aside.
Â
2. In a bowl, mix the cheeses together and add garlic and mix. Take the small piece of jalapeno off and stuff the peppers with the cream cheese mixture. When filled put extra piece of pepper back on making a whole jalapeno pepper.
Â
3. Stretch bacon and wrap around the pepper. Sprinkle the bacon with your favorite rub. Put peppers on a pre heated griddle on low or about 325 degrees. Cook for about 2 minutes and flip. Keep cooking until all sides of the bacon are cooked. Dome the peppers to melt cheese and soften jalapeno. Cook till bacon crisps up (6-8 minutes). When crisp, enjoy
