Making great pulled pork isn't hard to do, but with a few tips and trick noted in this video, you'll have delicious pulled pork everyone will enjoy!
Ingredients:
9 lbs Pork Butt
Hussey Heifer Dust
favorite pork rub.
1/2 stick butter
Directions:
1. Preheat smoker to 225-250 degrees. Remove Pork Butt from package and score the fat cap. If pork is not tacky spritz with apple juice mixed with apple cider vinegar and then add Heifer Dust as a base. Apply liberally. Add your favorite pork rub over the heifer dust.
2. Put pork on the smoker and add your favorite smoking chips or pellets. Smoke for about 2-4 hours and then ramp up the temp to 275-350 degrees. When bark get to where you like it, put pork in an aluminum pan, add butter and cover with foil. Cook till internal temp comes to 202-205 degrees or there about. When done, remove from smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes up to 4 hours. When done resting, remove the bone and shred to your liking in the same pan you cooked it in. That way, the juices will get back into the meat. Enjoy
