Updated: Jul 5

This Chick-Ham-Bacon Sandwich might just be your new favorite! Crispy breaded chicken, smoky deli ham, and sizzling bacon all come together in one stacked sandwich that hits every note — crunchy, juicy, and straight-up satisfying. Made hot and fast on the Blackstone Griddle, this one’s a comfort food classic in the making.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon

  • 4 slices deli sliced ham

  • 2 Martin's Potato Rolls

  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 3/4 cup panko

  • 2 tsp Texas Pete's hot sauce

  • 1 tbsp Hussey's Heifer Dust

  • Mayonnaise

  • Shredded lettuce

  • Sliced tomato

  • 2 slices pepper jack cheese

  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Directions

Prepare the Griddle and Ingredients

  1. Start by preheating the griddle to low. Add the bacon to the griddle. While the bacon cooks, trim the chicken breast. If it’s too thick, slice it in half. For an even thickness, pound it slightly.

Setup the Dredging Stations

  1. Set up three dredge pans. In one pan, combine the eggs and Texas Pete hot sauce. In the second, add the flour and Heifer Dust. In the third pan, mix the panko with some Heifer Dust. Check the bacon frequently and flip it as needed. Cook it to your liking.

Bread the Chicken

  1. Bread the chicken using the dredging stations. First, coat each chicken breast in flour. Then dip it into the egg mixture. Finally, roll it in the panko, ensuring it is well coated. Once the bacon is cooked, transfer it to a paper towel-lined cutting board.

Cook the Chicken

  1. Place the coated chicken in the reserved bacon grease on the griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip. Cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Snack Time

  1. Since you cooked five pieces of bacon but only need four, take one piece for yourself. Nothing beats snack bacon!

Toast the Buns

  1. When the chicken is almost finished, spread butter or mayonnaise on the buns. Place them on the griddle to toast to your preference.

Melt the Cheese

  1. Once the chicken is done, move it to one side of the griddle and turn off that burner. Add the four slices of deli ham and cook until heated. Flip to heat the other side. Fold the ham in half and place it on top of the chicken. Add two slices of provolone and one slice of pepper jack cheese to each chicken breast. Cover with a little water to help melt the cheese.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. To assemble the sandwich, spread a bit more mayo on the toasted buns. Place the chicken on the bun and top it with two slices of bacon, shredded lettuce, and sliced tomato. Season the tomato with salt and pepper. Finally, place the top bun on, and enjoy your delicious creation!

Why This Sandwich Stands Out

The combination of flavors in the Chick-Ham-Bacon Sandwich creates a delightful experience. The crispy chicken complements the smoky ham and bacon perfectly. Additionally, the melted cheese mingles beautifully with the freshly toasted buns.

Conclusion

If you're looking for a mouthwatering meal, this sandwich is a must-try. It’s perfect for lunch or dinner and will surely impress your family and friends. Try it today, and you might discover your new favorite sandwich!
