Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Save your money and don't go out to eat. Stay home and save that money. Things are so expensive these days! These chicken lettuce wraps will make you want to never get take out or go to a restaurant ever again!



Ingredients:

1 pound ground chicken or chop up 2 chicken breasts

5 large baby Bella mushrooms, rough chopped

3 green onions chopped

1 small can water chestnuts, drained and chopped

Hussey's Heifer Dust

1 head Ice berg lettuce or romaine lettuce

Sauce:

1 tsp dark soy sauce

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar

1/2 tsp chicken powder

1/2  tsp minced garlic

1/2 tsp garlic/mushroom powder

1 tbsp sugar

white pepper

salt

Optional Dipping Sauce:

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce

1-2 tsp rice wine vinegar

1 tsp Dijon mustard




Directions:

 

1. Preheat griddle to low/med. Chop chicken breasts if using as well and rough chop the mushrooms. Chop green onion and use white part for dish. Chop water chestnuts. Mix sauce ingredients together.

 

2. Put oil down on griddle and add chicken. In another part of griddle put down mushrooms. In another part of the griddle put down water chestnuts. Add onions to griddle. Season chicken with some Heifer Dust and cook and flip till done. Cut burners off and mix everything together on the griddle. Add sauce to chicken mixture and mix well.

 

3. Cut lettuce in half and start removing the leaves. Cut the leaves in half.

 

4. Remove chicken mixture from griddle to a platter. Take a piece of lettuce and put about 2 tablespoons of chicken mixture in lettuce leaves

 

5. If using, mix dipping sauce in a small bowl and dip wraps in sauce before eating.
