Crab Rangoon is so good and I have to order them when I'm eating Chinese food. I decided to turn this into a grilled cheese instead!!! This is SO good and so easy to make.
Ingredients:
12 oz whipped cream cheese
8 slices Texas toast
5 green onions finely chopped
1 package imitation crab
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter divided
1/2 cup sweet tie chili sauce
Directions:
Â
1. Preheat griddle to low or 350 degrees. Add cream cheese in a bowl and add chopped green onion and mix.
Â
2. Open the crab package and remove two pieces of crab and chop up. Add to the cream cheese mixture. If you think it needs more crab, add more crab. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Mix well.
Â
3. Liberally add cheese mixture to four pieces of bread. Top with second piece of bread. Put down two tbsp butter and spread out on the griddle. Put the four grilled cheese in the butter and cook for about 2 minutes and flip. Move the grilled cheese down from where they were and add the other two tbsp butter. Put the sandwiches in the new butter and cook 2 minutes on the other side
Â
4. When done, remove to the cutting board. Add some sweet chili sauce to a small bowl for a dipping sauce.
