Smash burger Tacos

Who doesn't like a smashburger??? I know I do! And who doesn't like a taco?? I know I love them too! These two have married one another and they're so dang good!


1 ½ pounds ground chuck 70/30

2 cups chopped lettuce

1 /2 red onions chopped

1 Tomato slices

Grillo pickle chips

Hussey's Heifer Dust

5 slices American cheese

5 tortilla: taco size


1 /2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp sweet relish

Dash brine from pickles to thin


Step 1

1 Start with making the sauce. Add sauce ingredients together and mix well. Set aside. Preheat griddle to 500 degrees.

Step 2

2 Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup measure out 5 balls (1/4 cup is approximately 3 oz of meat).

Step 3

3 Season balls with Heifer Dust and put on the griddle. Put a tortilla on top of the ball and smash thin. After about 30 seconds, flip the meat and tortilla over. Turn off burners and add cheese and let melt. Add sauce, lettuce, onion, pickles and tomato and serve.
